    Description

    We are looking for a skilled OBGYN physician to join ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Womens Care-Ahoskie in Ahoskie, North Carolina. The opportunity involves providing locum tenens coverage for their well-established womens care practice.

    Here are the details of the job:

    • 24hr call coverage Needed: Immediate start after credentialing.
    • Required coverage: Two weekends a month (Friday - Monday) until the end of the year.
    • Details:
      • Work setting: Inpatient Only
      • Responsibilities: Call
      • Facility: 114-bed hospital
      • Average inpatient census: 2
      • Daily admissions average: 1 per night
      • No ICU duties
      • Not expected to attend codes
      • Support available from James and Connie Maynard Childrens hospital, including pediatric transport services
      • Required certifications:
        • NRP certification
        • ALSO certification (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics)
          • ALSO certification must be obtained within 6 months if considering a long-term commitment.
      • Evidence of completion of AWHON Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years is a must
      • Experience with EPIC EMR
