    Responsibilities


    Develop new and and improved products, technologies, and programs for Chem-Trend worldwide to meet customer demands in a rapid and timely manner.

    Provide technical support to all company departments including Sales, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Quality Control.
    Support Technical Sales by attending product trials at customer sites.
    Perform separation procedures to qualify and quantify the composition of competitive products obtained by Sales.

    Assist manufacturing operations in the development and implementation of new or modified production methods to improve quality and increase manufacturing consistency.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field; advanced degree a plus.

    Minimum of five 5+ years of industrial experience; a strong preference will be given for hands on experience , including product formulation., or an advanced degree in Chemistry or related field.

    Working knowledge of lubricants, surface chemistry, emulsions, dispersions, coatings, and industrial processes.
    Composite and Rubber industry knowledge, a plus.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office software, electronic literature research and scientific software.
    Strong analytical, organization, decision-making, and communication skills.
