    Job Title: EVS Attendant

    Positon Summary:

    We are seeking a dedicated Casino Cleaner to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the casino premise. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the Casino floor, guest common areas, back-of-house areas and offices.

    Responsibilities:
    • Demonstrate a positive attitude and enthusiasm in approaching one's daily tasks. For example, standing tall, not leaning or slouching in their work area, displayed open body language, smiling during their shift.
    • Engage with guests courteously, offering assistance, and using polite phrases such as "excuse me," "thank you," and "may I."
    • Actively participate in company or departmental events and promptly respond to service calls within the designated area.
    • Maintain effective communication via radio to answer and make service calls to other departments.
    • Display a willingness to work outside of assigned areas, show pride in work, and suggest improvements where necessary.
    • Maintain focus on guest service and refrain from excessive socializing with coworkers during working hours.
    • Perform various cleaning tasks including but not limited to pushing in chairs, wiping surfaces, picking up debris, and dusting high and low areas.
    • Ensure cleanliness of restrooms, including cleaning fixtures, stalls, and replenishing supplies.
    • Handle the proper disposal of trash, ensuring the appropriate use of trash bags and cleaning the containers thoroughly.
    • Respond to and clean biohazard calls, and maintain cleanliness in various areas including office spaces, public areas, and break rooms.
    • Regularly patrol the assigned area to ensure continuous cleanliness and upkeep.
    • Prioritize safety, adhering to all safety protocols and reporting any accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
    • Adhere to company, department, and regulatory policies and procedures at all times.
    • Demonstrate dependability in completing assignments and adhere to designated break and lunch times.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary or confidential information disclosed by the casino or its guests.
    • Comply with department and casino standards, including the proper use of uniforms and personal hygiene.
    • Handle chemicals responsibly, including dispensing and labeling as required.
    • Communicate respectfully and professionally with guests and team members.
    • Maintain flexibility in working hours, days, and duties as required by the department.
    Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
    • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding service to casino guests.
    • Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow within the role.
    • Positive communication skills, energetic mannerisms, and a friendly demeanor.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with both team members and guests.
    • A strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
    • Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process and any necessary licensing requirements.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays, and in a smoking environment.
    Certifications:
    • Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming Liscense. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Prolonged periods of standing
    • Bending, stretching, twisting, reaching, push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently
