Job DescriptionSummary for a Superintendent of Construction:
o Jobsite Superintendent with 5 plus years of Commercial Construction experience.
o Experienced working in a team environment
o Experienced with supervising jobs ranging in value from 5 million to 20 million.
o Capable of operating basic construction equipment (skid steer, lull, etc.)
o Competitive compensation based on experience
Responsibilities for a Superintendent of Construction:
o Responsible for day-to-day supervision of the job site.
o Responsible for management of construction and subcontractor contract obligations
o Responsible to fully comprehend job specific documents i.e. Blueprints, job specifications, etc.
o Responsible for day-to-day job site documentation i.e. daily reports, daily job photos, job delays, etc.
o Responsible to report to the assigned Project Manager
o Responsible for updating and managing the project schedule
o Oversee the punch list and closeout procedure
Requirements for a Superintendent of Construction:
o To have worked in a similar role for 5+ years.
o To have been involved with ground up construction
o To have full knowledge in reading of blueprints and job specifications.
o To have basic computer skills in Microsoft office programs
o To have your 10 hr. OSHA certificate preferred 30hr.
