- Radiology Partners is seeking a Mammography Technologist who will deliver quality patient care during a mammography procedure by exhibiting patience and a thorough knowledge of the examination.
- POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates equipment efficiently and accurately
- Communicates and explains procedure with patient
- Gather patient history if applicable prior to the exam
- Communicates with radiologists and personnel within other practices concerning patients
- Documents patient care services using HER
- Ensures operation of equipment
- Performs required cleaning of room and equipment before each exam
- Perform patient reminder calls
- Schedule follow up appointments
- Performs other job duties as required or assigned
- Performs x-ray exams as needed
- AART registry in both radiology and mammography
- Current CPR
- Working knowledge of the EHR and PACS system
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with physicians, health care professionals, and patients.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in all mammography procedures
