    POSITION SUMMARY

    • Radiology Partners is seeking a Mammography Technologist who will deliver quality patient care during a mammography procedure by exhibiting patience and a thorough knowledge of the examination.
    • POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Operates equipment efficiently and accurately
    • Communicates and explains procedure with patient
    • Gather patient history if applicable prior to the exam
    • Communicates with radiologists and personnel within other practices concerning patients
    • Documents patient care services using HER
    • Ensures operation of equipment
    • Performs required cleaning of room and equipment before each exam
    • Perform patient reminder calls
    • Schedule follow up appointments
    • Performs other job duties as required or assigned
    • Performs x-ray exams as needed

    DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • AART registry in both radiology and mammography
    • Current CPR
    • Working knowledge of the EHR and PACS system
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with physicians, health care professionals, and patients.
    • Knowledgeable and proficient in all mammography procedures
