    Manufacturing Manager:

    Job Description:
    Own and drive blend optimization throughout SM melt facilities, managing inventory, cost and maximizing revenue.
    Create blend optimization strategies and supporting programs to support annual and five year business plans.
    Meet operational requirements, manage working capital targets, and leverage supplier capabilities and offerings.
    Coordinate with other BUs and internal stakeholders to drive optimize revert consumption across the company.
    Monitor blend performance to target, drive corrective actions and project plans, and communicate progress to the stakeholders.
    Lead cross functional teams to ensure quality, safety and production risks are understood and mitigated.
    Partner with Data Analytics to develop tools to monitor and drive revert supply / consumption.

    Facilitate meetings melt departments to ensure the availability and understanding of the materials to meet operational requirements (campaigns, grade changes, throughput targets, chemistry).Support identification and qualification of new revert streams.

    Support raw material Procurement team by identifying non-recyclable and slow moving revert.
    Monitor market conditions and trends; adjusting raw material procurement strategy to support business objectives.
    Drive documentation and change control of key processes.
    Develop and set strategic objectives for a business function or team.
    Evaluate complex flow paths, identify key control parameters and develop processes/tools to drive improvement.
    Successfully balance multiple projects at various stages with limited supervision in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
    Work independently as well as with and through others to achieved desired results.
    Analyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and timely through the implementation of long-term solutions.
    Effectively negotiate and resolve conflict.
    Foster collaborations, inspire confidence, and motivate individuals across diverse teams in a manufacturing environment in order to meet objectives.
    Utilize and teach CI tools to improve processes and solve problems within the business.


    Basic Qualifications:


    Bachelors degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.5 years of experience in a role with raw material blend management or revert conversion.

    Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.


    Preferred Qualifications:


    10 years experience in a role with raw material blend management or revert conversion.5 years experience of proven leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.

    APICS certification.
