    Responsibilities

    We are looking for an exceptional Senior Technical Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for enabling our clients to become proficient on the Workato Platform, empowering their employees and building solutions for their businesses.

    In this role, y ou will also be responsible to:

    • Work across multiple customer-facing teams (Sales, Business Development, Product, Engineering, Customer Success) to improve the product's vision and to make global businesses and organizations successful.
    • Technical solutions expert with an aptitude for technical advising, troubleshooting, and analysis. With strong communication skills, you will be proficient in communicating technically complex ideas to a non-technical audience. You help Workato employees and customers approach and resolve technical problems and design scalable services.
    • Gather requirements via client meetings and lead the solution design process jointly with customers, Business Development and Engineering
    • Develop capabilities and features based on customer requirements as well as to extend Workato connector capabilities via and SDK
    • Work closely with Product and Engineering to review customer requirements and feedback, and identify opportunities for Workato platform enhancements
    • Accelerate development for roadmap features to address specific customer requirements
    • Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to Workato's knowledge base
    • Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service experience to Workato customers

    Requirements Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

    • BA/BS or equivalent education - Computer Science degree is a plus.
    • 6-10 years of pre-sales experience in a SaaS/iPass organization.
    • Hands-on experience with automation technologies, middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, SDKs, and Databases.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure.
    • Knowledge of Ruby programming (or understanding/familiarity with object-oriented programming).
    • Knowledge of front-end development, including but not limited to, HTML (particularly iframes & iframe security mechanisms), and/or CSS.

    • Be proactive about solving problems and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge

    For California applicants, the pay for this role begins at $100,000 plus variable, benefits, perks and equity.
