    The Technology Innovation Lab (TIL) operating group, within The National Security and Innovative Solutions (NSIS) sector at CACI, is searching for an established

    Senior Business Development Manager


    with a successful track record in identifying and qualifying technology-based new business opportunities within C4ISR/EW market with both Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence community customers.

    Must have a proven track record of winning new business through successfully shaping opportunities through direct customer engagements.


    The location for this role can be based at one of our locations in either Northern Virginia (Herndon, Sterling, Reston) or Maryland (Jessup, Annapolis Junction).

    You can expect to spend up to 25% of your time on business travel within the continental United States.


    The successful candidate will:


    Will be responsible for pursuing and winning new business within the C4ISR/EW market (i.e., RF/SIGINT (Passive and Active), Wireless/Network (5G), etc.).

    Have a strong network of customer contacts and must be familiar with legacy and upcoming C4ISR/EW-related programs

    Actively market the Company Brand, establish customer expectations, and shape opportunities by creating white papers, sponsoring in-house demonstrations, and responding to RFIs and similar activities.


    You will conceptualize the need, organize the correct company participants, assist in developing solutions, and lead the collaboration to completion.

    Build and qualify a new business pipeline based on high-end SIGINT ISR-based technology in the C4ISR/Cyber/EW market.

    Your primary focus is to build/maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities that align with the strategic vision for growth within the IC & DoD market space.

    Create, manage, and implement go-to-market plans (to articulate and generate consensus for strategic vision, action plan, competitive intelligence, investments, business case, etc.) within the C4ISR/Cyber/EW market with targeted IC and DoD based customers.

    Develop and present milestone briefings to senior management in support of investing in and pursuing strategic opportunities in these markets.

    Engage customers in identifying and shaping opportunities.

    This includes active communication of filtered, actionable intelligence back to Sector, BD, and functional group staff.

    Support Captures and Proposals to maintain continuity across the BD lifecycle, enhancing our ability to win as opportunities pass from qualification into capture and then proposal.


    You'll Bring These Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

    Preference is technical discipline.

    10+ years performing Business Development (sales, marketing, capture, proposal) activities, especially in pursuit of high-end SIGINT ISR technology-based solutions within the IC & DoD markets.

    5+ years of business development experience related to SIGINT ISR technology within the C4ISR/EW market.

    The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Federal procurement process, and a demonstrated proficiency with IC and DoD strategy and acquisition plans.

    Have a strong network of customer contacts and must be familiar with the customer's major programs and upcoming initiatives.
    Understanding of the IC / DoD technologies and OEM/LSI vendors that are often selected to deliver these capabilities.
    Demonstrated ability to lead a team of business developers in execution of the business development function with minimum supervision.

    Effective leader/participant in formal presentations to clients and potential teaming partners; proven track record of building winning teams as well as successfully negotiating with potential team members as to roles and participation.

    Strong written and oral communication skills.
    Proven passion for and ability to develop and win work.
    Ability to contribute to strategy development, long-range positioning and execution.
    Active TS/SCI (Poly level security clearance preferred).
