American Dental Companies, a leading dental services organization, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona.

You will play a vital role in managing the financial operations of our growing dental network.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements in accurate and timely manner.
• Generate general ledger entries and reconcile accounts
• Prepare custom reports for owners.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking and drive operational efficiencies.
• Coordinate with Controller on internal audits, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• CPA Required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance
• Experience handling multiple companies and intercompany transactions
• Experience working in the healthcare industry, preferably dental or healthcare services, is highly desirable but not required.

Analytical Thinking:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

Detail-Oriented:
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Technology Proficiency:
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel) to analyze and present financial information effectively.
