    The Corporate Technology team is leading the advancement of emerging technologies through R&D and Innovation initiatives at Donaldson Company. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to design and implement our data management plan.

    In this role you will need to partner with key leaders to identify business objectives, determine data requirements, create sustainable data processes, establish data governance, adopt the right technologies, and build a collaborative network to successfully implement the data management plan.


    Role Responsibilities:
    Design and implement our data management plan in collaboration with Corporate Technology stakeholders and IT business partners. Build and execute a detailed roadmap.
    Conduct a thorough analysis to understand Corporate Technology data types throughout their lifecycles, from creation to consumption. Understand use cases and ensure solutions meet those needs.
    Create an infrastructure providing a data pipeline to our research and development team members. In partnership with IT determine the tools needed and establish our data workflow.
    Provide search and analysis tools allowing for fast access to all aspects of data in our R&D pipeline. Ensure that end user applications meet our engineering needs providing functional tools that add value.
    Partner with our IT leaders to develop data quality initiatives that align with our enterprise data governance policies.
    Provide continuous review and implement updates for optimization of our data management plan as technology quickly evolves.
    Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, translating technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Provide regular project updates.
    Provide training and support to end-users on new processes, systems, and tools.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
    Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, and experience with Data Architecture and Data Engineering.
    Experience leading data management programs from data creation to analysis.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
    Experience creating high level plans as well as hands on implementation of those plans.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
    Experience integrating data in and out of cloud computing data warehouse solutions.
    Experience implementing intelligent data management tools.
    Experience Implementing data governance principles and practices.
    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
