    The Manager, HRIS & HR Operations will be responsible for advising on the design and owning the delivery of HR policies, processes, and tools (primarily Workday HCM system) to our global team members.

    With a footprint of over 2,000 employees spread across 30+ countries, this role requires attention to detail and effective communication skills to manage varied needs across a broad stakeholder group.

    The ideal candidate has a hands-on approach to getting things done, is focused on delivering operational excellence, operates with integrity, and consistently identifies ways to elevate the employee experience.

    This role reports to the Director, HRIS & HR Operations and supports a globally dispersed HR organization.

    Responsibilities


    Provide direction, tactical leadership, and functional expertise on global HR Operations to support full stand up of this function at embecta and drive future enhancements.

    Serve as HR Operations Business Partner for COEs, HRBPs, and other functional and business customers to understand business needs, define requirements, and design new or modify existing processes to meet changing demands.

    Partner with HRIT and HR stakeholders to define and drive Workday roadmap and prioritization based on business needs in alignment with shared resource allocation.

    Understand Workday's technical strategy and new functionality and map opportunities to optimize embecta's Workday use to support global HR strategy and meet global business needs.

    Manage bi-annual Workday feature releases for the HR team, partnering with the HR Service Center, HRIT, and other applicable counterparts to ensure successful release go-lives.

    Serve as HR Operational lead on recurring projects, such as performance management, compensation planning, and goal management.

    Collaborate with HRIT team, vendors, product managers, and consultants to maintain Workday system, HR Operations documentation, and end user-facing resources.

    Partner with HR and business stakeholders to identify potential data integrity issues and advise on appropriate audit and mitigation strategies to ensure data quality.

    Manage audit workstreams with internal and external partners to ensure function compliance according to annual sampling and testing schedules.

    Basic Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
    5+ years' work experience in Global HR Operations or similar role
    Hands on experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems
    Experience in implementing and evolving a global HR Operational framework
