- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and goals.
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based techniques in speech-language pathology.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- At least one year of recent experience in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
