    Job Summary

    Work with Operations and Leadership to identify Cost Control opportunities and tracking performance to business plan. Supporting the Site Finance Leader in analysis and decision making. Prepare monthly financial reporting for Mt. Vernon and the other Americas sites while also identifying key drivers. Lead annual business planning process for Site Fixed Costs with additional focus in Maintenance and Services.

    How You Can Be the Impact

    • Provide planning, analysis and cost control support for Operations and Maintenance Leaders
    • Support the Corporate Finance Team with input on accruals and general accounting support for product costing.
    • Develop the site maintenance budget within MTV Site Business Planning process. Create a cost review process that includes forward looking metrics.
    • Provide management cost reporting during the planned maintenance outages, highlighting timely status of the cost with analysis and actions for overspending.
    • Lead review of Maintenance Parts Inventory cycle counts and ensure we are compliant with Corporate Finance guidelines.
    • Attend project meetings and discussions with Site Leaders and external clients on cost related issues.
    • Support the procurement department in service contract negotiations and supplier audits.

    What Matters to SABIC

    • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
    • At least 3-5 years of manufacturing accounting and cost control experience.
    • Knowledgeable of fundamental accounting rules and global accounting procedures
    • SAP preferred
    • Excellent computer and technological skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work within a cross-functional team
