    OverviewWe are assisting our client in their direct hire search for a Clinical Supervisor. This is FT or PT supervisor hrs. / week). The position is exempt. Days onsite are flexible and scheduled during the hiring process. The position is in San Francisco.

    The program is for the Non-Public School (NPS) area which serves high school students whose mental health symptoms are impairing their ability to access and succeed in their education.

    The students are supported by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, teachers, behavior support staff, drivers, and program management.

    The team works closely with the students, their families, and outside agencies to support the students' academic and therapeutic goals.

    In the role you will develop, plan, and implement clinical strategies for program continuation and growth within the NPS-CEEP. Implement systems and services that remove emotional and behavioral barriers to learning and promote success for all students.

    ResponsibilitiesProvide weekly individual and group clinical supervision to clinical associates and trainees who are collecting hours towards licensure or practicum completion.

    Develop, expand, and coordinate clinical services and initiatives in alignment with the Trauma Informed Care model across the NPS-CEEP.Devise clinical strategies and plans for the NPS-CEEP according to client's standards for excellent service and growth.

    Provide input for the Weekly Intake Process for student referrals to discuss clinical appropriateness for admission and determine timeline of admission in collaboration with NPS Director.

    Coordinate with NPS Team to ensure quality of care for students and administrative operations for clinicians.
    Support the recruitment process for clinicians to ensure NPS is staffed with qualified personnel.
    Provide new hire training to clinicians.
    Work with other members of the client team to assure successful communication and coordination between all programs.

    Creates and maintains good working relationships with the schools and community, organizations/service providers that partner with client's NPS-CEEP.Coordinates with the NPS Team to be the liaison at IEP Team meetings.

    Develop and coordinate with Special Education Staff social/emotional IEP goals.
    Provide clinical leadership in crisis response situations, as needed.
    Provide daily clinical leadership and support to clinicians when requested.

    Conducts outreach to students, families, school staff and broader community providers regarding services provided and student mental health needs in support of clinicians when needed.

    Provide quality assurance of behavioral health services and ensure that services are trauma-informed, culturally, and linguistically appropriate and integrated into the NPS-CEEP.Provide professional development and coaching to school staff to promote effective student success teams including prevention, intervention, and intensive services.

    Aid and guidance to clinical trainees to promote a positive learning experience and ensure effective services within the NPS-CEEP.Oversees clinical documentation quality and participates in PURCQ weekly meeting.

    Maintain a small caseload of NPS students.
    Monitor and complete PURQCs.
    Other duties as assigned.
    Preferred RequirementsAdvanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) in clinical psychology, social work or related field required. Current CA Board of Behavioral Science or Board of Psychology license and/or registration.

    California Licensed two years and clinical supervisor eligible (LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist)Based on our funding sources, the California Department of Mental Health requires all unlicensed psychologists to apply for a professional licensing waiver or show proof of a valid waiver prior to hire date.

    Direct clinical experience working with high-risk children and youth.
    Demonstrated clinical experience with foster care, DCFS, and community mental health systems.
    Clean California DMV and insurance; local travel and car required.
    Bi-lingual Spanish (spoken and written) preferred.
    Experience providing individual, family and group therapy to children and adolescents.

    Experience working in residential or psychiatric hospital settings and in a variety of settings:
    homes, schools, neighborhoods, other agencies, etc.
    Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    Experience in working in a milieu.
    Experience in collaborating with diverse communities.
    Familiarity with San Francisco County resources.

    Clinical supervision skill- assessment, reflection, teaching, and documentation of clinical oversight and training for clinical trainees, associates, and licensed clinicians.

    Clinical service skill - assessment/evaluation, diagnosis, clinical skills, crisis intervention, ability to use supervision effectively, ethical, and legal responsibilities, high quality clinical documentation.

    Knowledge of child and adolescent development, trauma, chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and child abuse.
    Cultural humility - knowledge of issues of race, class, and ethnicity.
    Engaging, flexible style with children and adolescents.
    Ability to collaborate effectively with clients who have complex, multiple diagnosis histories.
    Efficiency and time management - ability to be well-organized and complete timely documentation.
    Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
    Knowledge of or ability to learn Medi-Cal reimbursement procedures and billing.
    Prior knowledge and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Avatar, preferred.
    Collaboration and team functioning - able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    SalaryThis position has a salary range of $98,594.50 to $117, the salary is pro-rated to FTE) and dependent on years of clinical supervision and bilingual language skills. In addition, they offer an excellent comprehensive benefits package.
