    GridironIT is seeking a Contracts Manager local to the Reston, VA area. TS/SCI clearance is required.


    Overview:
    Join our team and take on an exciting opportunity. As the Contracts Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of contracts.

    The ideal candidate for this role should possess extensive experience in cradle-to-grave contract administration, specifically managing various cost reimbursement types and fixed-price contracts.

    Your key responsibilities will include conducting thorough RFP analysis, actively participating in proposal development, coordinating internal reviews, skillfully negotiating contracts, and efficiently managing the administration and execution of contract/task orders.

    To excel in this position, superb written and oral communication skills are essential, as you will be required to foster strong relationships with internal and external customers.

    Your ability to establish and maintain these relationships will significantly contribute to your success as a Contracts Manager at GridironIT.

    The primary location for this position will be in Reston, VA, with the potential for 25% telework. Some local travel to the customer site is required.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws.
    • Work closely with the functional team to become a trusted adviser by achieving day-to-day objectives significantly impacting operational results or project deliverables.
    • Work to influence team members regarding solution design, process, and/or approaches.
    • Demonstrated experience in pricing, strategy, and rate builds.
    • Multi-task and prioritize work activities in a fast-paced environment and prioritize communication at all organizational levels.
    • Managing contractual risk through negotiation and action.
    • Building a cooperative and professional relationship with our customers' contracting officers and Leidos program teams.
    • Maintain and ensure that program teams maintain adequate documentation to support compliance with contractual requirements, company policy and procedure, and applicable laws

    Basic Qualifications:

    • A bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or a master's degree with 3+ years of prior relevant experience.
    • Experience in Contract Administration may be considered instead of a degree.
    • Experience with Government (FAR / DFAR) contracting: Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and General Service Administration (GSA) type contracts.
    • Must be able to make sound business judgments, handle multiple contractual activities with a short turnaround time, and work independently as part of a Team.
    • The Candidate must be proficient with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • The Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, including well-developed analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to identify and mitigate contract risks as well as coordinate appropriate reviews in accordance with our policy and procedures.
    • TS clearance required (will be processed for SCI)
    • Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, and Supplement

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong understanding of GSA, GWACs, and other multi-award and IDIQ vehicles
    • Strong knowledge of Acquisitions and Regulations, including IC, Public Sector and DoD
    • Completion of formal contracting coursework or certification.
    • Success in supporting large capture teams for complicated multi-year programs.
    • Demonstrated experience in negotiating complex contractual issues on active contracts.
