    Marine Electrical Application Engineer Job Summary The Maritime Electrical Application Engineer leads our electrical integration efforts for new construction, retrofits/re-powers, and service to vessels.

    This position provides marine power management, integration, and distribution guidance and support to our clients, partners, and team members.

    Marine Electrical Application Engineer Responsibilities Ability to lead specification analyses with strong technical writing to specify sources and build systems asneeded with trusted manufacturing partners Selfmotivated to work independently and driven to implement & analyze designs for electrical powersystems High level of integrity with a strong work ethic and positive attitude to persevere through challenges,meet commitments, and stay focused under pressure Knowledge of marine electrical and classification standards and practices from primary propulsionsystems, diesel engines, battery and hybrid systems, and auxiliary loads Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical challenges requiring adaptation andmodification of standard approaches, techniques, procedures, and criteria Knowledge of vessel power systems (generation and energy storage systems), distribution gear, electricpropulsion, variable speed drives, AC motors, vessel automation, and overall vessel system power designrequirements.

    Marine Electrical Application Engineer Position Requirements Bachelors degree in Electrical or Marine Engineering from an accredited university, ProfessionalEngineering (PE) Licensure, preferred 10 years of experience in maritime engineering or service of marine electrical systems and equipment Familiar with maritime regulatory environment and submittal processes, shipboard systems operationand design requirements, shipyard practices, and contract specifications Proficient use of AutoCAD, MS Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)

    Authorized to work in the US, valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to obtain a TWIC card
