Job DescriptionImmediate opening for a Quality Control - Lab position for our Danbury manufacturer. Pay rate $20hr Immediate opening.

Responsibilities for the Quality Control - Lab job include:

• Prepare and inspect incoming steel & in-house specimens
  
• Testing for machinability, harden ability, grain structure, defects and cleanliness
  
• Inspect for Rockwell hardness, acid etch (samples), use of all types of hardness testers
  
• Prepare and inspect samples of component parts for grain size and fish scale
  
• Maintain metallurgical record including customer requirements
  

Qualifications:

• 1 - 3 years' experience in a similar position required
  
• Computer skills
  
• Experience with required equipment
  

Hours/Days - Monday - Friday from 7AM - 3:30PM

Pay rate - $20 hr

At least 6 month temp assignment but potential for hire..

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
