Description
Medical Director of primary care opening with a large and comprehensive healthcare system in southeastern Connecticut. This position is designed to improve the overall health and well-being of self-insured members at the clinic site.The Medical Director, in collaboration with Regional Operations leadership and Practice Supervisor, ensures that day-to-day clinical operations are consistent with and help achieve the direct-to-employer objectives and targets.
Reporting to the Chief Medical OfficerThe physician will provide primary care services to patients 70% of the time and administrative leadership approximately 30% time.
The Medical Director will participate in setting the overall direction, goals, and objectives and will provide input regarding key partnership financial and population health metrics clinical and operational issues.
The Medical Director is responsible for providing the leadership to achieve consistent, high-quality care within the region and support clinical program development.
