    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    Food Hall Attendant (Fast Food) will be responsible for setting the stage for the guest experience with a welcoming smile and exceptional service. The role will provide the highest quality of Food and Beverage service in a high volume, fast-paced environment. The Attendant provides excellent service by taking and serving and or delivering food and beverage orders to customers.

    ROLE EXPECTATIONS

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
    • Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service to guests.
    • Greets customers and enters orders into the Point-of-Sale system.
    • Prepare hot and cold food and drinks following specific recipes.
    • Processes credit card, room charges, comps or cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change, while presenting a receipt to the customer
    • Must adhere to all company standards and operating policies.
    • Cleans outlet areas, including counter tops, sinks, display shelves, storage areas and lounge areas on a continuous basis.
    • Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have.
    • Resolve guest complaints to satisfaction and/or communicate guest issues to management.
    • Performs all side work and stocking of supplies at assigned stations and condiment areas.
    • Experience in fast food quick service for basic preparation, maintaining, and serving.
    • Package order as per guest's preference with essential condiments.
    • Ensure food items are constantly stocked and properly rotated.
    • Stock products as needed.
    • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area.
    • Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
    • Rotate to other Food Hall outlets/venues, as necessary.
    • Ensure all Rio Hotel & Casino core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
    • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
    • Use work approved device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc.
    • Assist Bus person in keeping/maintaining dining room areas clean.
    • Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
    • Report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
    REQUIREMENTS
    • At least 1 year of high-volume counter or fast-food experience in a similar or related field.
    • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
    • Polished appearance and demeanor.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • At least 21 years of age.
    • Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of the venues Menu.
    PREFERRED
    • Previous experience working in a similar position within a hospitality establishment.
    • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
    • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
    • Must regularly lift and/move up to 25 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
    WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
