    Department: Family Medicine Inpatient (3-N)


    FTE: 0.90
    Status: Full Time
    Shift: Nights


    Position Summary: Join our team to provide direct, gentle patient care and support services in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, taking vital signs, assisting with daily activities, maintaining supplies, and more. Be part of our mission to deliver top-notch care to individuals in all age groups.

    Detailed responsibilities:

    • Patient observation to ensure safety and well-being
    • Provide basic patient care and record vital signs
    • Assist with daily living activities
    • Maintain therapeutic care and minute-to-minute patient support
    • Enhance professional growth through continuous education and development
    • Follow patient safety protocols diligently and contribute to improving safety measures
    • Identify and report potential risks and concerns promptly
    • Encourage patient participation in their care


    Qualifications


    Education:

    • High School or GED Equivalent
    • Certification in CNA or EMTB (ICU) or 1 semester accredited nursing program

    Experience:
    • 6 months of patient care experience

    Credentials:
    • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Certification within 30 days

    Physical Conditions:
    Heavy Work: Involves moving objects or people exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.

    Working conditions:

    • Significant exposure to chemicals and biohazard materials requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
    • Limited access to medication room as per Medical Administration Policy
