    $250k + EquityTax Director, HNW - 8090Our client, a Family Office Group of a national advisory firm with multiple locations throughout the US, is looking for a talented Tax Director. This individual must have extensive HNW and UHNW tax compliance, tax controversy, advisory and planning experience. Great opportunity for someone coming out a Top 50 CPA firm or a small family office. Will be responsible for a small portfolio of clients across multiple industries and backgrounds.

    ResponsibilitiesProvide high quality individual, trust, estate, gift, foundation, and business tax compliance services as well as estate planning advisory servicesDevelop and implement tax planning strategies in alignment with client goals and objectives, including coordinating with advisors to integrate tax considerations into financial plans and investment strategiesReview individual, trust, estate, gift, business entity, and foundation returnsHandle Federal and State tax notices and auditsReview and analyze estate planning related legal documents Tax ManagerResearch Federal, State and International tax laws, prepare tax memorandums on technical topics, and develop tax savings strategiesBe proactive and stay current on new tax legislation and tax reform Business DevelopmentManage all aspects of client accounts with respect to tax, fostering client relationships, overseeing processes, and answering questionsServe as a subject matter expert, resource, and point of contact for clients' broader advisory team, including wealth advisors, financial planners, and other stakeholdersConduct internal business development and marketing, including networking, public speaking and authoring income tax planning and Trust and Estate related articlesProvide internal training and guidance on tax-related topicsManage other members of the group including monitoring their workloadRequirementsBA/BS degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required; Master's in Taxation or Accountancy preferredActive CPA licensed required8+ years progressive experience in public accounting requiredExtensive experience in Tax Advisory and Estate/Trust planning and compliance for sophisticated high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and familiesAbout our ClientFamily Office Group of a national advisory firm with multiple locations throughout the USAdditional Job DetailsWorkplace
