    Specific Responsibilities

    The Logistics & Materials Management Technician II for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache's Global Supply Chain team at the company's Pecos office reporting to the Logistics & Materials Management Manager. The Logistics & Materials Technician I-III is responsible for operational tasks performed in a warehouse or yard environment: issuing, receiving, and counting inventory items, locating/placing items in the appropriate bin/rack locations, and manages material control and security. The incumbent performs operational tasks at the warehouse/yard facilities associated with MRO inventory operations, critical spares, tubulars, and other oilfield materials.

    This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
    • Under general supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products, and inventory accuracy.
    • Perform cycle counts on monthly basis to ensure accurate inventory records and reconciles differences
    • Works in conjunction and communicates with logistics providers to arrange collection and shipments of orders
    • Assists with the preparation and distribution of shipping documentation
    • Communicates regularly and proactively with internal stakeholders regarding status of shipments
    • Directly responsible for warehouse management EHS programs, promotes safe working environment, and ensures reporting procedures for incidents are followed
    • Required to be present at assigned yard or other facilities in the operational area during working hours to support the business and provide oversight of material management activities
    Qualifications & Experience

    The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
    • High school diploma required.
    • Associate's degree preferred.
    • 3-4 years of related inventory and material control experience.
    • Experience working within a materials control/warehouse environment.
