    The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting for a Sale Administration Forester position within the NFS Agriculture Conservation Experienced Services (ACES) Program through a grant administered program which provides support to the U.S. Forest Service (NFS). Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States. Selected candidates will also be required to undergo a federal security background check.

    Role and Responsibilities: Position may provide mentoring of new forest service representatives, sale administrators, or harvest inspectors in sale administration duties and mentoring of accounting personnel in contract accounting. Position may also assist with timber sale accounting through contract reviews, filing, data entry, load receipt book preparation and other clerical duties.

    Duties include:

    • Mentoring of new forest service representatives, sale administrators or harvest inspectors. Duties would include teaching on how to perform the duties of these positions, how to interact with purchasers and contracting officer, do field inspections, complete, file, and submit appropriate paperwork, and manage multiple sales at one time.
    • Mentoring of new timber sale accounting personnel and performance of timber sale accounting duties. Assist the North Timber Zone Accounting Center with contract reviews, filing, data entry, load receipt book preparation, and other clerical duties.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements: Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States; able to pass a Federal Background check; BA/BS; minimum of 15 yrs relevant experience in related field; professional experience as a sale administrator, forest service representative, harvest inspector or timber sale contracting officer. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite : Word, Excel, AGOL. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Valid driver's license.

    Hours & Compensation: Part-Time position working 15 hours per week @ $49.99.
