    Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Director of Procurement to oversee and optimize our client's procurement processes, with a specific focus on managing multi-state and international purchasing operations. The Director of Procurement will play a critical role in developing and executing procurement strategies that ensure cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with regulations and company policies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies that align with company goals and objectives
    • Lead a team responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers/vendors across multiple states and international markets
    • Identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish strategic partnerships to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability of supply
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations, to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks
    • Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to drive cost savings and operational efficiency
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to procurement activities
    • Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
    • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with demonstrated success in multi-state and international purchasing roles
    • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management principles, and sourcing strategies
    • Experience leading procurement teams and managing vendor/supplier relationships in a multi-state or global environment
    • Proficiency in contract negotiation, supplier/vendor management, and procurement software/tools
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
