    Description


    OverviewThis is a non-personal services contract to provide Administrative, Analyst and Advisor Services that shall support the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.

    The United States Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over contractor personnel, who are the service providers performing the services described herein.

    The contracted service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government.

    The incumbents primary duties are to provide clerical support to the Office Directors in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.

    The incumbents ability to perform adequately is based on a thorough knowledge of the responsibilities, the organizations of the office, and the nature of projects and their relation to the overall mission of the Department.

    ResponsibilitiesDevelop project strategy plans based on logical framework approachesMaintain project timeframes, objectives and communicationsCreate and manage documentation and reports for projectsIdentify the goals and requirements of each projectVerify data and information and analyze it to suit the direction of a projectTrack, forecast and report on project progress including metrics and challengesCollect the necessary information required to start projectsMaintain current knowledge on the legislation applicable to each projectAssists the Division Chief/Director in coordinating and monitoring the implementation of planning activities to ensure accomplishments of objectives; helps in the identification of unresolved issues that arise in the course of implementation; and checks back periodically to see that the implementation is proceeding as planned.

    Types and edits letters, memoranda, cables, reports, and other material as directed, using office automation software and equipment; and drafts some correspondence under appropriate supervision.

    Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

    Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/dataLocate and define new process improvementQualificationsEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma and must have a minimum of five (3) years office experience and supporting high level officials.

    OR4 years of directly related administrative and technicalActive Top-Secret ClearanceKnowledge, skills, and abilitiesExperience with EZ and E2 Travel SystemsKnowledge of office management systems and proceduresExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast- paced office environmentExcellent customer service skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsProficiency in MS Office, and Teams, ZOOM, and WebEx platforms2-5 years of experience managing Federal travelExperience with Federal Travel SystemsIntermediate level knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)Has a thorough understanding of travel policies and regulations, CONUS and OCONUSThis position requires overtime.
