Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pricing Analyst to join our resin products pricing team within the QSR business unit. The Pricing Analyst will play a crucial role in developing effective pricing strategies, analyzing financial data, and ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining Novolex profitability. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work harmoniously across departments.

Some of the core functions of the role:

· Working with Sales team to determine competitive market prices based on market pricing knowledge, internal benchmark price comparisons and profitability analysis.

o Gathering information and developing an understanding of market conditions, competitors and competitive pricing activity.

· Preparing profitability analyses, benchmark price comparisons, researching costing issues Ensuring accuracy and integrity of pricing data used in analysis, pricing systems and decision making.

· Analyzing customer potential and strategic importance, production and distribution costs as well as the corporate ebitda impact of the profit/loss volume trade-off.

· Understanding raw material markets and resulting internal cost implications. Determine the impact of raw material increases to customer base.

· Managing pricing contract renewals, price increases and pricing/contract systems execution.

o Ensure timely and accurate communications of escalator-de-escalator price changes.

o Work with Customer Service on incoming inquiries, zero priced report and discrepancy resolution.

o Ensuring accurate price entry in customer portals such as Arrowstream, 24 Tracc etc.

o Working closely with Legal Department to build customer contracts with relevant commercial data – evaluate/revise language regarding price escalation/de-escalation, rebates and floor stocking/inventory requirements.

o Track and evaluate quote activity and win/loss analytics.

· Additional projects, including new software implementations and other special projects in support of the QSR Commercial Excellence group.

What We Need From You

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with management and both internal and external customers.

· Exemplary analytical skills with the ability to accumulate, organize and assimilate large amounts of information.

· Strong financial acumen, with advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and Excel. Detail oriented mindset.

· Experience with ERP reporting systems (SAP and/or IFS) preferred.

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Data Analytics preferred, and two to five years related experience. Any Bachelor's degree field will be considered.

Compensation:

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $83,600 - $139,300 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
