Overview:

As an Infrastructure Team Lead with a background in telecommunication carriers, you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of infrastructure operations. This includes managing circuits, contracts, and inventory, leading a team of professionals, and utilizing tools for budgeting and data analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of infrastructure operations within a telecommunications carrier environment.

Manage circuits and contracts, including understanding, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Lead a team of infrastructure professionals, including conducting talent reviews, talent calibrations, and overseeing the hiring process.

Utilize Excel, PowerBI, and other relevant tools for budgeting, reporting on network hardware, and analyzing data to make informed decisions.

Manage the warehouse of equipment and oversee inventory management to ensure adequate supply levels and efficient use of resources.

Conduct regular meetings, including 1:1 sessions with team members, project meetings, and liaising with other groups to align on project goals and progress.

Lead an Agile team, guiding them through the transformation journey and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Education and Experience Required:

A combined minimum of 9 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years' engineering and/or architecture experience and 3 years leadership experience

Extensive experience in infrastructure operations within the telecommunications industry, with a strong understanding of circuits, contracts, and budgeting.

Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and other relevant software tools for data analysis and reporting.

Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience working in an Agile environment and driving teams through transformational changes.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $110, $184,391.68 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
