    They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Buyer to join the team. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in the procurement process, vendor, and inventory management, with a focus on implementing Lean Practices. Jeffersonville, IN area.

    Salary:$65- $80K plus a comprehensive benefits package.

    HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES:
    • Lead procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, components, and services required for manufacturing.
    • Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
    • Implement and champion Lean Practices to drive efficiency, eliminate waste, and improve overall operational performance.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination throughout the supply chain.
    • Create and maintain reports and documentation as needed.
    • Utilize ERP or MRP systems to manage inventory, track orders, and generate reports to support informed decision-making.

    HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or 10 years commiserate experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Buyer or similar procurement role.
    • Proven experience in manufacturing, with a strong understanding of the procurement process.
    • Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain Lean Practices in procurement operations.
    • Proficiency in using ERP / MRP systems.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • International procurement experience a plus.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
