- Perform duties specific to the assigned role as mutually defined by the employee and supervisor.
- Receive and respond to inquiries and concerns from employees, hiring authorities, District administrators, and applicants until a resolution is determined.
- Appropriately input and extract data from the integrated platform in order to effectively manage the assigned HR functions.
- Effectively manage all paperwork, databases, files, work products, etc.
- Monitor and make changes to all HR related platforms and website as needed.
- Perform office duties by answering the telephone, assisting and directing callers, and greeting, announcing, or routing visitors, as needed.
- Perform fingerprinting duties as needed.
- Assist and provide support to FMLA processes as needed.
- Assist with special projects and events as requested.
- Research, gather and organize pertinent data as needed for supervisor's use.
- Serve as the liaison between the District and associated vendors and/or community/government agencies.
- Maintain integrity of confidential information related to district and division operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service on a daily basis, and maintain professional practices.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or state approved high school equivalency (HSE), required.
- Minimum of one to two years of general administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities required in the assigned HR function.
- Strong computer/technical skills, including the use of Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Docs and Google Drive.
- Ability to work well with co-workers, applicants, and employees.
- Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.
- Ability to abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
- Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
- Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
- Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
- Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.
