    Elite Sourcing LLC is partnering with a prestigious accounting firm to find a talented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in providing tax planning and compliance services to a diverse client base. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional to contribute to the success of our clients and the firm.

    In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. You will also assist with tax planning, research tax laws and regulations, and provide guidance to junior tax staff. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in tax accounting, stays current with tax laws, and possesses exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
    • Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws.
    • Assist with tax planning and provide tax advice to clients.
    • Review and update tax provisions and documentation.
    • Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information and address any concerns.
    • Supervise and mentor junior tax staff.
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and legislation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • CPA certification preferred, but not required
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting.
    • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., CCH, ProSystem fx Tax).
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
    Benefits
    • 40 hours/week + OT when required
