Job summary
The Respiratory Therapist performs Pulmonary Function Technician will work independently in the Department of Internal Medicine outpatient locations and will be responsible for the following:- Perform diagnostic tests on patients including spirometry measurements, vital lung capacity, functional residual capacity, determination of maldistribution of inspired air, arterial blood gas assays,
- Provide patient education including instructions in the proper use of inhalers and nebulizers.
- Complete all necessary documentation including billing forms when needed.
