- Assists in the determination of the effectiveness of patient care through patient interviews, assessment and patient compliance to the plan of care and adjusts patient care to meet changing needs.
- Modifies the interview technique by identifying the physical, psychosocial and educational needs common to Neonate, Infant and Children.
- Observes parent/child interaction and childs general appearance. Assesses safety considerations.

Qualifications:Education
Graduate from an accredited School of nursing, maintains a current California LVN license, and maintains a current CPR certification, IV certification or willingness to obtain.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Has signed and is aware of professional responsibility to report suspected cases of abuse. Demonstrates a willingness to learn, accept change, and update knowledge of nursing practice as evidenced by continuing education.
