Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ARCHITECT in the Capital Improvements Business Line (CIBL) of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.

Duties

• You will oversee pre- and final inspections to comply with contract requirements and acceptance of completed facilities.
• You will formulate architectural and engineering project requirements in accordance with facilities construction guidelines.
• You will assign architect-engineer work to junior employees based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
• You will deliver briefings to management to gain support of architectural and engineering project execution.
• You will develop alternative solutions to architect-engineer (A/E) contract issues by performing cost-benefit analysis and recommending improvements.
• You will compose technical correspondence to communicate engineering and architectural designs, plans, and objectives to management, technical experts, or staff.
