    Job DescriptionINTERNATIONAL TAX MANAGER


    We are looking for a tax manager with strong domestic tax compliance skills that is interested in learning or continuing to develop their international tax skills.

    Our International tax group advises both inbound and outbound clients on various international tax consulting and compliance matters. We address the tax implications including structuring, planning and reporting for our clients' international expansions and investments.

    The international tax group is unique because we prepare domestic tax returns for clients as well as assist with international tax matters.

    Our people become very well rounded tax professionals from their exposure to both domestic and international compliance and planning.

    Educational Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting requiredCPA certificate or in process of completing CPA exam

    Experience

    5-6 years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experienceStrong background in tax compliance. International tax experience a plusBroad exposure to Federal and State income tax preferred

    Required Skills


    Strong tax compliance skills and experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and various entities such as partnerships, S corporations, C corporations.

    Experience and knowledge of foreign reporting forms such as Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 8938, 8621, and FBARs.

    A plus to have a base knowledge in international tax rules and concepts applicable to corporations and individuals including the following:

    Inbound tax planning and reportingOutbound tax planning including subpart F, PFICs, foreign tax credits, and cash repatriation planningTax reporting for international operations and reorganizationsWithholding tax rules and reportingForeign bank account reporting and FATCATax research, writing, and analytical skills including the ability to apply tax rules to client's facts and familiarity with on-line tax research resourcesAbility to recognize tax issues, planning opportunities, and implications of new tax laws to a variety of industriesDemonstrated ability to address and properly complete in a timely manner multiple, simultaneous projects originating from multiple clientsMust be hard working, a self-starter, performance-oriented and able to meet the demands of a diverse business environment in a timely, accurate, and efficient mannerExceptional oral and written communication skills and experience in drafting technical memoranda are required.

    Analytical and organization skills are essentialDynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to build and foster relationships are required
