    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Participate in furniture delivery and assembly to assure project completion.
    • Load and unload vehicles
    • Deliver assembled and unassembled furniture and parts
    • Participate in assembly furniture
    • Remove boxes and installation related trash from site
    • Maintain vehicle, dock and spare parts area cleanliness and organization
    • Complete internal deliveries between locations when needed
    • Work with install Leads and sub-contractors to keep project momentum moving towards completion
    • Manage small projects with minimal supervision; working towards mid-sized projects as experience in gained
    • Work with install Leads and contract teams to learn about furniture installation requirements
    • Become familiar with vendor furniture lines
    • Use proactive problem-solving skills to save some time and cost with issues that may arise during installations
    • Be accountable for any installation punch issues and ensure they get taken care of in a timely manner
    • Report all punch items and project concerns to install leads or Project Managers and/or Director of Project Operations as soon as identified.
    • Build rapport with client, demonstrate a positive "can do" attitude
    • Maintain positive relationships with subcontractor companies
    • Be on time and courteous to all projects
    • Perform quality control checks when necessary prior to project installation
    • Ensure vehicles used by self and sub-contractors are kept orderly and ready for next assignment
    • Safety: Verify that all operations, work in progress and all completed work complies with all applicable codes, safety regulations, drawings, specifications and all corporate policies and procedures.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    • Valid driver's license required
    • High School Diploma Required
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of audiences.
    • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
    • Team-oriented and willing to learn.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience in furniture assembly preferred
    • Skill in the use of computer, specifically in a PC, Windows-based operating environment a plus

    Position: Installer

    Status: Full Time

    Schedule: Monday - Friday / 7am - 4pm (Some Saturdays)
