    Description

    In this role you will:

    The Clinical Informatics System Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the clinical system. They find ways to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs of the organization. The system administrator monitors system performance, troubleshoots system issues, and assists with upgrades and new releases. The System Administrator serves as a systems liaison with vendors, IT, and end users. This job works close with the project manager to organize, plan, control and execute projects associated with the clinical system. They will also work together to ensure deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed of progress and any updates. This job will also be responsible for managing system users.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Monitors system performance
    • Configures work stations
    • Assist with upgrades and new releases
    • Manages permissions and user accounts
    • Acts as a liaison between the vendor and end users
    • Oversees equipment maintenance
    • Works with members of the Clinical Informatics team for system testing
    • Troubleshoots errors
    • Ensures orders are routed to the worklist and results are routed back to the EMR in a timely manner
    • Provides technical support to the radiology department
    • Makes effective recommendations to the vendor and internal personnel
    • Provides frequent status updates to upper management
    • Monitors the day-to-day operations related to the system
    • Facilitates calls with vendor and key stakeholders regarding system upgrades, system improvements installations, downtime, and system issues
    • User Management
    • Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute
    • All other duties as assigned
    About You:
    • Two or more years of System Administration
    • Excellent communication skills
