    Job Description:

    Position Summary:
    Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Lift Truck Operator (LTO) will be responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to load and unload materials, products, bins, and pallets. The LTO will facilitate the movement of necessary items from storage areas, machines, and loading docks to trucks or storage facilities, ensuring seamless operations and promptly reporting any issues to management.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Perform daily forklift checks on assigned forklift(s).
    • Locate, pull, and transport full or empty bins, pallets of finished products, packaging supplies, and/or equipment to specified areas.
    • Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate locations.
    • Maintain and update records of inventory and activity logs.
    • Load trailers and containers, ensuring correct weight distribution.
    • Shrink wrap pallets to prepare them for shipping.
    • Maintain facility equipment and materials in an organized manner.
    • Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
    • Utilize handheld scanner for accurate recordkeeping.
    • Keep detailed records and reports to uphold tight inventory control and security measures.
    • Perform any other assigned duties.

    Position Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 6-12 months of forklift experience.
    • Prior work experience in a fast-paced environment.
    • Adherence to all safety and GMP protocols.
    • Compliance with all PPE and safety requirements.
    • Ability to occasionally lift up to 55 pounds.
