If you are an experienced Software Engineering Manager passionate about building software solutions and looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for youBased in our St.
Louis, MO location, open to full remote with onsite visit 2 to 4 times per year, you will lead a remote software engineering team to develop cutting edge solutions for our businesses.
To be successful in this role, you will need to apply expert level engineering and architecture skills using the latest technology stack we have in place.

YOU WILL:
Lead, mentor and develop a team of Software Engineers.
Be responsible for HR needs of the team
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements that will feed into developing effective software solutions.
Ensure the team works at a sustainable pace.
Possess deep technical knowledge of C#, .NET, Azure Cloud with
AWSexperience a plus
Experience with mobile app development a plus
Experience with UI development, Angular experience a plus
Review and revise existing software development lifecycle and code standards
Manage and resolve escalations for operational issues to ensure optimal performance of software systems
Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to support business performance
Ensure appropriate reporting, metrics, and standards are followed by team
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES &
SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent work experience
Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Software Engineering, with at least five (5) years of experience leading a team of experienced software engineers
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience with:
Azure Cloud Services
SQL Server
Hands-on experience with Windows systems
Advanced English level
Demonstrated ability to clearly isolate and define problems, effectively evaluate alternative solutions, and make decisions in a timely manner
Good decision-making ability, ability to operate in ambiguous situations, and high analytical ability to judge pros/cons of approaches against objectives
Comfortable translating business requirements into a design
Willingness to put the needs of the team over their own
Onsite visits in the United States 2-4 times per year
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD development practices
Experience working with:
AWS
Maui
UI Development, specifically Angular
Linux systems
Advanced level of software development knowledge

Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option and Core Hours
This role has the flexibility of remote work and a core hour schedule.
You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm (based on team headquarters time zone).
Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.
This role also has a travel requirement of up to 1 week per quarter to one of our business locations, predetermined by leadership in advance.

In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the base salary range for this role is $155,944 - $201,707 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
