    Description

    Defines and documents system scope and objectives based on knowledge of the clinical systems and user needs. Develops system specifications, performs system design across a variety of applications, and executes system test plans. Anticipates problems, provides solutions to complex problems with the necessary priorities, and presents the solution to the clinical partners. Develops detailed system selection criteria based on functional and technical requirements. Builds effective relationships with the clinical partners (physicians, nurses, technologists and other care givers) in the specification, design and testing activities, and presents ideas clearly and concisely.

    Education
    Bachelors Degree : in MIS, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field / clinical specialty (Required)
    Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

    Experience
    1 Year experience with a variety of healthcare clinical systems, e.g., Epic, GE, McKesson, Siemens (Required)
    1 Year experience in a hospital environment (Preferred)
    1 Year experience with EMR software application implementation(s) (Preferred)

    License/Certifications
    EC - Epic Certification (Preferred)
