    Overview
    Trains, orients, and supervises personnel regarding processing of supplies and equipment. Oversees work of Central Supply tech and laundry workers. May be required to work alternate shifts and participates in the on-call roster. Performs other duties as assigned.
    Responsibilities
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Prepares daily work schedules in Central Supply department to maintain high performance of the department.
    • Prepares various reports.
    • Conducts in services for Central Supply department.
    • Checks inventory for usage and shortages.
    • Coordinates with hospital personnel to maintain proper delivery of supplies and equipment.
    • Maintains Central Supply equipment in good working order.
    • Orients, trains and supervises Central Supply technicians.
    • Conducts performance appraisal.
    • Performs duties as a Central Supply technician as needed.

    Education and Experience
    Graduate of high school or equivalent.
    Formal supervisory training/previous supervisory experience preferred.
    Supply chain experience preferred.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear.
