- Diligently maintain and repair ice machine equipment.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of service tasks.
- Collaborate with the Parts Department for precise parts identification.
- Organize and maintain a systematic truck, ensuring accurate tool and part inventory.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and devise efficient solutions.
- Engage with manufacturers for equipment diagnostics.
- Cross-sell JWS's broad range of services to customers.
- The Field Refrigeration Technician role involves physical activity, including walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and turning for the better part of an 8-hour workday. Additionally, candidates should be prepared for windshield time, which involves driving between client locations to perform service visits.
- A customer-first mindset coupled with genuine empathy.
- High School diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.
- Self-driven nature, ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in gas, electric, plumbing, and/or steam repairs (a plus).
- 2-3 years' experience in refrigeration or ice machine equipment repair.

Overview: As an Ice Machine Technician, you'll be at the forefront of field service, focusing on the upkeep and repair of ice machine equipment. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be a linchpin in ensuring service excellence and client satisfaction.
