From determining & delivering next generation processing systems that meet today's needs while supporting our future innovation/growth pipeline to designing a new plant, Manufacturing Technology is at the forefront ready to meet the business challenges head on.
Process Engineering team members are the technical experts responsible for the design, construction, and commissioning/startup of complex process & utility projects across the network.
As part of a larger engineering team consisting of packaging, process, and project management, we work closely with our plant customers, R&D, and Business Units to optimize projects for manufacturing and business needs.
Our goal is to deliver reliable equipment and integrations that exceed startup and safety targets, and help the company grow top and bottom lines.
In this role, you will:
Manage and support projects in accordance with Clorox Project Management Standards to achieve required results, timing, and budgetary targets.
Provide functional specific technical leadership on evolving capabilities within the industry and insight to project teams on plants' engineering requirements.
Participate in the CI of the Corporate and project safety performance by supporting the safety programs and initiatives.
Ensure projects meet environmental compliance requirements while supporting environmental sustainability goal achievement.
What we look for:
7+ years total engineering experience preferred, in various functions' ideal: 2+ years of experience in Operations, 2+ years in Staff Engineering, 2+ years in Plant Engineering
Engineering Degree (BSME / BSEE / BSChE / IE or equivalent engineering degree)
Expertise in dry materials and powder handling in addition to liquids processing
Experience with capital projects and capital budget process
Good business judgment with ability to calibrate with business objectives and meet deadlines
Knowledge of SAP or equivalent, and utilization of Engineering Standards
Familiarity with CI / TPM / Lean Manufacturing processes and techniques
Proven ability to document and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Travel 50 – 75% to plant and equipment vendor sites as needed for project work
Background in consumer packaged goods environment

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S.is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

$86,600 - $161,900
–Zone B:
$79,400 - $148,400
–Zone C:
$72,100 - $134,900
