    Overview


    The Service Supervisor is in charge of organizing customer service operations and overseeing all activities both in the workshop and in the field, demonstrating a strong commitment to leading and developing technicians.

    Key Responsibilities


    • Participate in the lean management system at the site level, including daily performance huddles, Gemba walks, and problem-solving to ensure customer satisfaction and site profitability.
    • Monitor safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics to drive operational excellence.
    • Conduct meetings with the technician team and escalate any issues to the service manager.
    • Interact with customers and provide field support when necessary.


    Requirements


    To excel in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, along with two to four years of relevant experience or equivalent training. Strong leadership background, effective communication skills, and the ability to solve practical problems are essential.


    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required, and familiarity with systems like Salesforce, SAP, and ServiceMax is a plus.


    Physical Requirements


    This position entails standing, walking, manual tasks, and occasional heavy lifting. Suitable visual and auditory capabilities are necessary for successful job performance.


    Work Environment


    Depending on the location, exposure to mechanical equipment, varying weather conditions, and loud noise levels may be expected.
