- Responsible for the manufacture and inspection of high precision products of varying complexity under minimal supervision. Responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed and must have the appropriate level of CNC machining experience required for the job as outlined below.
- Set up and operate various CNC machine tools in accordance with company policy, procedures, and time standards.
- Perform various repetitive production machining operations using the ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches and work instructions.
- Inspect parts produced.
- Transmit and receive CNC programs, maintain computerized and/or manual production records.
- Provide technical assistance and on-the-job training to other employees.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work with colleagues in a professional and cooperative manner.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- General computer skills.
- This position has no direct reports.
- Visual acuity (corrected) to read documents, drawings, instructions and to inspect machined parts.
- Stand, move about the shop floor, talk, hear, bend, squat, kneel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- This is a full-time hourly position which operates Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm.
- Travel is not required for this role.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Technical or vocational school background is helpful
- 1-3 Years in a Manufacturing environment
