    Position Overview:
    Banner Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our General Surgery team.

    Work collaboratively with three accomplished surgeons and one APP, delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population in an elective surgical practice.


    Provide comprehensive care across multiple settings:
    hospital rounding, clinic consultations, and surgical first assist in the OR. Join a supportive team with strong leadership and well-established infrastructure in a rewarding, structured work environment.


    Position Details:

    • Full-Time: 40 hours per week
    • Call: One weekend per month (primarily elective cases, minimizing after-hours emergencies)
    • Schedule: 1 day clinic (Peoria Plaza) | 4 days OR (Boswell Medical Center)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Surgical first assist in the operating room
    • Clinic visits and patient consultations
    • Post-operative rounding and follow-up care
    • Multidisciplinary team collaboration and care coordination

    Qualifications:

    • Certification: ACNP (with RNFA certification) or PA
    • Experience: 2+ years surgical experience required
    • Preferred: Robotic surgery experience
    • Licensure:
    • Arizona state licensure or eligibility to obtain
    • Current national certification in good standing
    • DEA license for controlled substances
    • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
    • Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, team-oriented, flexible in fast-paced environments
