Summary:
A Fortune 15 automotive client of Insight Global in the Huntsville, AL area is looking to bring on a Group Leader for their Facilities Engineering Team. This individual is primarily responsible for managing the daily facility needs across the plant and creating/maintaining high standards for safety. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable working 2 weeks on day shift and 2 weeks on night shift a month while also being a hands-on leader and technically sound.
This position will be responsible for managing 10-12 skilled laborers, using Maximo software to create daily PM's, overseeing daily operations for facilities in the building (HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compression, etc.), managing daily PM's and delegating responsibilities, and focusing on safety improvements and safety reviews.
This role works in 12-hour shift increments, switching shifts on a bi-weekly basis. This position is a one-year contract-to-hire. Candidates for this position are paid overtime 1.5x hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 on a weekly basis.
