    Vertiv is hiring a Sr.

    Quality Manager in Lincoln, NE who will be an integral part of the Products & Solutions line of business leadership structure to ensure deployment of Product Quality, Quality Systems Management and Product Compliance System within the Rack Power Distribution Units Line of Business.


    This role is accountable for the development of product quality and compliance requirements and deployment of these throughout the product development, manufacturing, sourcing, delivery, and improvement processes.


    This role will have a Global scope that operates in a matrix organizational structure and works closely with the Quality function and all other functions across the organization to drive deployment of quality product compliance systems; supplier and customer quality continuous improvements focus.


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Lead and manage the full scope of quality-related activities (from NPDI through EOL) in support of achieving Line of Business objectives including:

    New product development quality

    Production QC and continuous improvement in supplier and manufacturing defect reduction

    Customer quality issue resolution and prevention of defect recurrence

    Customer Audits coordination, participation, and management of improvement activities

    Initiate and participate in projects aimed towards improving our ability to identify and measure product/process quality from a customer perspective

    Develop and implement strategies to meet annual quality improvement KPI and metric goals (NPDI though EOL)

    Stop non-value-add activities and transfer non-core activities to the appropriate function

    Supports all Quality associates in the attainment of their objectives and performs special projects as assigned

    Development and implementation of end-to-end customer experience metrics

    Drive process improvement initiatives within the Line of Business.

    Hold regular Quality Management Reviews with regional and LOB leadership

    Develop and maintain effective communication within the respected key stakeholders.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum Job Qualifications:

    7-10 years' experience in Electrical\Electronics industry

    Data-Center industry experience

    Proficient in MS Office

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Well-developed interpersonal skills.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Quality Management knowledge including statistical techniques and methods.

    Preferably Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt from recognized institute

    Ability to develop individuals and organizations to be effective.

    Knowledge of Smartsheet and PowerBI will be an added advantage.


    EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
    Minimum Academic Qualification - Bachelor of Science in Engineering

    or Business Management field.

    Preferably certified as CQE
