    Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC seeks a Vice President in New York, New York

    Provide primary sales coverage to a broad array of investor types to contribute to daily workings of the business. Work on longer term projects to help advance the business, pursue new revenue opportunities and streamline current operational tasks. Provide coverage for government bonds, interest rate derivatives, mortgage and credit derivatives, vanilla and exotic options and inflation-linked products.

    Collaborate with investment professionals with financing mandates spanning numerous regulatory environments and jurisdictions, and then determine and provide bespoke financing solutions to them.

    Identify areas of business and operational inefficiency and proactively implement improvements as necessary.

    Salary:

    Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $200,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment.

    However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

    Requirements:


    Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Anthropology, or a related degree and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Associate, Analyst, or a related role.

    Requires two (2) years of experience with: Execution in rates derivative products, government bond markets or repo markets; Inquiry life cycle for Over-The-Counter (OTC) and exchange traded derivatives; Covering institutional accounts; Writing and communicating market color to clients; Interest rate products including bonds, swaps, financing, swaptions, exchange traded futures and options; Working with research analysts and traders on trade idea generation and development; Bloomberg and Microsoft Excel


    Requires the following:
    FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 certifications.
