    Title: State Trafficking Services Specialist
    State Role Title: Prog Admin Specialist II
    Hiring Range: The anticipated starting salary range is approximately $69,000 - $79,000.

    About the Job: Join the team at the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services as a State Trafficking Services Specialist, where you will play a vital role in supporting victims of human trafficking, specifically focusing on sex trafficking in Richmond, Virginia.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Enhance and support services for victims of human trafficking, especially sex trafficking.
    • Assist in identifying and responding to trafficking victims in the Commonwealth.
    • Collaborate with agencies on human trafficking-related efforts.
    • Develop standards for treatment programs for victims of sex trafficking.
    • Identify gaps in services and funding opportunities to address those needs.
    • Promote education, training, and awareness of human trafficking.
    • Participate in special projects related to human trafficking.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Seeking a candidate with:
    • Knowledge of crime victimization, especially of child and youth victimization, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
    • Experience working with crime victims and victim-serving organizations.
    • Ability to develop training curricula and facilitating training.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication skills.

    Additional Considerations:
    • Experience in assisting victims of crime, particularly human trafficking victims.
