Job DescriptionRevenue Cycle Reimbursement Specialist, Healthcare payer, Managed Care
Full-time, salaried position
Work from home
Join the Exela Technologies Managed Care Professionals Team as a healthcare payer follow up caller.Every claim and every client is different Decision making is required. This position works remotely from a home office, but you must live in greater St. Louis, MO area.
Functions:
Perform day to day operations in the healthcare Revenue Integrity Program
Contact respective payer for processing of additional reimbursement "underpayment"
Validate underpayment explanation
Generate Appeals and forward to Project Coordinator for approval
Interact with healthcare client appointed contact
Continue underpayment follow-up pursuit per scheduled daily activities until remittance of additional reimbursement occurs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree/Associate's Degree or equivalent experience with emphasis in accounting, finance, hospital administration, or nursing.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare profession or equivalent experience.
